OXAGON Connect Goes Live at Y Buildings, Bromley: Our First Private Fibre Network in London

Bromley, London — OXAGON is delighted to announce the launch of OXAGON Connect, a Private Fibre Optic Network delivering internet services to residents of Y Buildings, 28 Rafford Way, Bromley. It is OXAGON's first ISP project in London, and the result of long hours of technical innovation, careful preparation and exceptionally close cooperation with Bromley Council.

A boutique site, built with the latest technology

Y Buildings is a boutique, state-of-the-art development, and we approached it that way. From the first design sessions through procurement, deployment, testing and commissioning, our in-house engineers applied the latest in network design and equipment to build a private fibre network exclusively for the building.

Benchmark resilience, by design

·         Private, building-exclusive fibre. The connection is not shared with the wider public network, which means consistent speeds and greater reliability.

·         Fully symmetric speeds. Upload matches download on every plan, which suits video calls, cloud working, large file transfers and content creation.

·         24/7 network monitoring. Our operations team is watching the network around the clock, and a fault may be spotted before you notice it.

·         A Service Level Agreement on every plan. Fault resolution is backed by a commitment, not just good intentions.

·         A dedicated, pre-configured router. Each resident receives a router specified for their chosen plan and configured exclusively for their flat, so it delivers the performance the plan promises.

Three clear plans, fixed prices

All plans are symmetric, monthly rolling and inclusive of VAT.

Prices are fixed, with no mid-contract increases. A static IP address is available on request.

Designed around fairness

OXAGON Connect has been designed with a strong social focus, including for residents in social housing. Our terms apply equally to everyone, whether the resident is a private tenant, in social housing or receiving benefits. There is no restricted second tier.

·         Live within 24 hours. Services activate within 24 hours of the router being received and the first payment being made.

·         Flexible and low-commitment. Monthly rolling, with a 14-day cooling-off period and 14 days' notice to cancel.

·         Stress-free payments. Pay by Stripe card subscription or by bank transfer. No Direct Debit is required, so there are no mandates and no failed-payment bank charges.

·         A 7-day payment buffer. An extra week of connectivity beyond the billing date, so residents have time to put their finances in order.

·         No late payment fees. No reconnection fees. If service is interrupted, it is restored on the same day payment is made.

·         Transparent billing. One clear, itemised bill with every charge listed simply.

·         Easy if life changes. Residents who move away from Y Buildings can cancel without an early disconnection fee.

·         A support team that picks up. Our in-house UK team is available Monday to Friday, 08:00–18:00, with email replies within 4 working hours.
